Notes
- A dispute over the correct spelling of Glammis is part of the hamlet's
history. Local residents apparently prefer Glamis, after the famous castle and
village of the same name, in Gorfarshire, Scotland. But postal authorities
named the community Glammis, in 1860, and that is its official name.
